Course title: 4th. ed. INCOTERMS 2020
Date: April 13, 14 and 15
Timetable: From 16:00 to 20:00
The international commercial activity has suffered a constant increase during the last decades. This factor, together with the accelerated development of technical means of communication, has generated a constant increase in the number of companies and operators involved in it. This fact opens up a wide range of opportunities and also generates important risks for all those involved in international commercial activity.
An important number of subjects participating in the international commercial activity find, however, due to ignorance and the inherited use of wrong routines, certain relevant problems when designing their commercial operations from the legal point of view. Especially, with regard to the determination of the exact legal regime applicable to them.
The present course seeks to help overcome these difficulties, focusing, in particular, on the contract for the international sale of goods – the most common in practice – and on its regulation through INCOTERMS. Studying in detail its application in the logistics sector.
During the course we will analyze the nature, structure, classification and evolution of INCOTERMS until the current version of 2020. The analysis we will make is aimed at being as practical and realistic as possible in order to provide participants with clear information about one of the most widely used instruments in international trade that will allow them to meet the challenges posed by foreign trade with greater guarantees of success.
