Opentop organizes a logistics innovation conference as a side event to the World Forum of Logistics Cities and Platforms

  • The meeting will be held on September 23 at the iconic Valenciaport Clock Building as a pre-event to the World Forum of Logistics Cities and Platforms (September 24 and 25)
  • Spanish and Latin American startups and experts will share disruptive solutions to address the challenges facing the logistics and port sector
  • The conference is organized by Opentop (Valenciaport’s open innovation hub) and NODO OMCPL (Panama), and offers a program that brings together top-level international presentations and success stories from entrepreneurs in the logistics sector
  • Places are limited and registration is free

Valencia, September 15th, 2025. -Valencia’s emblematic Clock Building will be the setting on the afternoon of September 23rd for the Logistics Innovation meeting, an event that will bring together leading players in the innovative logistics-port ecosystem from both sides of the ocean. This conference is being held as a side event to the World Forum of the World Organization of Cities and Logistics Platforms (WOCLP), hosted by Valenciaport.

The innovation meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m. with an institutional welcome by Juan Manuel Díez, Head of Innovation at the Port Authority of Valencia. The agenda includes presentations by international leaders such as José A. Giménez, Director of Port Logistics at Fundación Valenciaport and Vice President of Logistop; Gabriel Orellana, industry expert and logistics leader at the Juegos Panamericanos; Javier Villahermosa, Managing Director of DACHSER Southern Europe; and Ricardo José Ruiz Artavia of Fidelitas University of Costa Rica.

The conference will include two blocks dedicated to success stories featuring startups such as Gandolapp, Passify, Standtrack, Navlandis, Kuarctech, and Stowlogg, which will present their innovative solutions moderated by Hugo Mira, CEO of Mojito 360, and Helena Ortiz, Ecosystem Manager at Opentop.

The program also includes the presentation of the NODO OMCPL Logistics Innovation Center from Panama, as well as the opportunities in logistics and port innovation offered by Opentop.

The day will conclude with a sector-specific networking session, providing an opportunity to exchange experiences and generate synergies among all event participants. Space is limited, but it is still possible to register for free here.

Jorge Marcos, Lead Project Manager at Opentop, Valenciaport’s open innovation hub and organizer of the event, states that:
