Explore, understand, innovate: this is Pharos 39.0, Fundación Valenciaport’s new port trends websit

  • This new digital platform will help make sense of the complex dynamics transforming the global port-logistics ecosystem by offering content on innovation, digitalisation, sustainability, resilience, markets and talent, among other topics

Valencia, 9 February 2026.- Fundación Valenciaport today unveiled Pharos 39.0 (https://pharos390.com/), its new digital platform designed to disseminate knowledge and help understand the complex dynamics that are transforming the global port-logistics ecosystem.

This new space does not replace the Foundation’s corporate website but rather has a complementary purpose: to become a meeting point for trend analysis, the exchange of innovative ideas and collective reflection on the future of the sector. All of this is made possible through collaboration with professionals, researchers and international thought leaders in the fields of ports, trade, maritime transport and logistics.

The platform offers content in a variety of formats to address the reality of the sector from different perspectives:

Flash Articles: the latest industry news in just a few minutes. Short, agile reading pieces focused on current affairs and the milestones shaping the agenda.

Spotlight Articles: in-depth analyses exploring structural trends and the factors redefining the port-logistics ecosystem.

Papers: technical or scientific content presenting research results, European projects and specialised studies.

All these formats address the key pillars shaping the present and future of the sector: innovation, digitalisation, sustainability, resilience, markets and talent, among others.

A name with identity and purpose

The name Pharos 39.0 brings together two key concepts. Pharos, a symbol of the lighthouse that guides and provides orientation, reflects the platform’s mission to illuminate the path towards the future of the port sector. The number 39.0 refers to the geographical coordinates of the Port of Valencia, linking the project to its Mediterranean roots and its international outlook.

With the launch of Pharos 39.0, Fundación Valenciaport reaffirms its commitment to the generation and dissemination of knowledge, strengthening its position as a benchmark in innovation, strategic analysis and reflection on the challenges and opportunities facing the port-logistics sector.
