Course objectives
Following the publication in May 2014 of the latest amendments to Spanish Royal Decree 335/2010, the document that governs the activities of Customs Representation, by 2020 all freight forwarders and customs agencies must ensure that their customs management staff member and/or legal representative are accredited “Customs Representatives”.
The Resolution of October 26, 2020, of the Presidency of the State Agency for Tax Administration, convening aptitude tests for training as a customs representative, shows that those students who have passed the course offered by the Valenciaport Foundation, and ATEIA OLTRA Valencia, will be exempted from the theoretical test, which is undoubtedly a recognition that constitutes a differentiating element and a clear advantage over the rest of the applicants to be accredited as Customs Representatives
