Valencia, March 30, 2026.- Fundación Valenciaport has announced the opening of the registration period for the 5th edition of the Professional Certificate MAPN0712, “Port Operations: Loading, Stowage, Unloading, Unstowage, and Transshipment.”
The main objective of the course, accredited by LABORA, is to provide participants with the technical and safety skills necessary to enter the field of port stevedoring, a strategic and highly specialized area within the logistics chain.
This training program, established as one of the most in-demand in the sector, will begin on April 20 and run through December 18, 2026, comprising a total of 850 classroom hours delivered in-person at the Fundación Valenciaport headquarters.
Under the collaboration agreements signed by Fundación Valenciaport with the CSP, MSC, and APM terminals, as well as with the Port Employment Center (CPE) and the Shipping Association, students will complete their non-work-based internships in real professional settings.
This direct immersion in the port’s daily operations ensures specialization aligned with the current needs of stevedoring companies.
The program also features a faculty composed of professionals with extensive operational experience, meeting the highest standards of professional competence.
To enroll in this Level 2 training, candidates must meet basic academic requirements, provide proof of no criminal record, and pass a specific medical examination organized by the foundation.
With the launch of this 5th edition, Fundación Valenciaport reaffirms its commitment to generating skilled employment in the port cluster, offering an official pathway to professionalization for a sector that is a driving force of the Valencian economy.
