Course objectives

This Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) is entered into between Port Training Institute (PTI), affiliated to the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and Fundación Valenciaport for Research, Promotion and Commercial Studies of the Valencia Region, affiliated to the Port Authority of Valencia (hereinafter referred to as “Fundación Valenciaport”), collectively referred to as the “Parties”.

Building upon a long-standing and successful collaboration, the Parties hereby agree to jointly organize and deliver a specialized training program entitled “Energy Transition in the Port Logistics Sector”, consisting of a two-week course to be held during the month of January 2026. The course will combine online and in-person sessions, with the first week delivered online and the second week conducted in Valencia, Spain.

This Agreement constitutes the eleventh collaboration between the Parties, reflecting their mutual trust, shared objectives, and continued commitment to providing high-quality professional training in the port and logistics sector.

The purpose of this Agreement is to establish the terms and conditions governing the organization, implementation, responsibilities, financial arrangements, and general framework of the above-mentioned joint training program.

Who it is aimed at

The course is aimed at professionals, managers, and technical staff working in the port, maritime, and logistics sectors, as well as representatives of public authorities, port authorities, and other stakeholders involved in energy transition, sustainability, and decarbonization processes.
