Collaboration agreement for training purposes with SERVEF

Leandro García, Director of the Valenciaport Foundation, Ramón Gómez-Ferrer, Director of the Port Authority of Valencia (APV) and Joaquín Vañó, General Director of professional Training and Qualification of the SERVEF (Valencian Service for Employment) held a meeting together last week as a first step towards the signing of a collaboration agreement for training purposes in the near future.
The objective of this agreement will involve the training and qualification of unemployed persons in the activities that are deemed necessary by companies related to the ports and logistics sectors. Both occupational courses and continuous training are planned.
This initiative of the APV, the SERVEF and the Valenciaport Foundation will be outlined in September so as to craft the corresponding collaboration agreement by the end of 2005
